Job Description

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) delivers a high-quality customer experience by serving as the primary link between customers, sales, and operations. This role supports order management, resolves issues, and ensures clear communication to drive customer satisfaction and retention.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and confirm orders daily; communicate ordering needs promptly
  • Generate quotes within 24-48 hours
  • Respond to calls and emails in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate pricing, product specs, and customer records
  • Monitor orders, inventory levels, and backorders to ensure on-time delivery
  • Resolve customer issues quickly and escalate when needed
  • Collaborate with sales, purchasing, and operations to support customer needs

Additional Duties

  • Prepare proposals and correspondence
  • Track payments and assist with inventory management
  • Expedite materials based on customer demand

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Prior customer service experience preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented with basic math skills (including profit calculations)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
